Is the preview really free?
Yes. Building your site and watching the live preview costs nothing and needs no card. You only pay when you decide to launch it.
How long does it take?
About two minutes to see your site, and another 10 or 15 if you want to add reviews, photos, and prices (or send them to us later). Your site goes live on a preview link the moment you check out. Then we help connect your own domain, often the same day, or within two business days if we're registering a new one for you.
Do I need my own domain? Does it cost extra?
No, you don't need one to start. Connecting a domain you already own is included. If you need a new one, we'll register it in your name and bill the registration at cost, usually about $15 a year. That's the only charge outside the $100 setup and $100 a month.
Can I change things later?
Yes. Email us any change, like new prices, hours, photos, or a different template, and we'll update the site. That's what the monthly fee covers.
Where do booking requests go?
To the email you choose in the form. Every request is also saved, so nothing gets lost.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel anytime with no fees by emailing us. Here's exactly what happens:
- Hosting: your site stays online through the end of the month you've already paid for, then goes offline, and you won't be charged again.
- Your domain: it's yours. A domain you brought stays in your account; one we registered for you is in your name, and we'll help you transfer it wherever you like.
- Your content: your text, photos, logo, and reviews are yours. Ask and we'll send you a copy to use anywhere.
- The design: the templates and code stay with Plumber Sites, so the site itself isn't exported.
